I'm so EXCITED!!!!

We have just 2 days until GLAMINAR day on sunday! I am soooo excited to get to meet everyone, inspire your hearts, fill you will love, hope, knowledge, and everything you need to make your dreams happen! Yes, it's about make-up...but so, so, soooo much more! There are things in store that we've never had at any Glaminar before, and probably won't be able to do again! ha ha ha

This is our 1 year "glam-a-versary" of the Glaminars! So this one's gonne be good!
I am so honored, that the girls that started the Kandee's Glaminar Scholarship Winners page, started a discussion about an "AH-HA" moment they had from me....and my heart was just sooooo excited to see that not one comment was about MAKE-UP!!!! It was about their hearts! Make-up is fun, but to touch someone's heart is something that no price can be put upon, no words can describe! I have to say, they love that the girls on that page show each other is awesome!!! I am so proud to see me "lil' kandee family" loving each other and spreading their joy and encouragement with each other!

OH YES! I will be at IMATS on saturday!

PLEASE, please if you see me, don't be scared to say hi! I'd love to say hi, hug you...and if you want to take a picture with me....i'm not scared either! ha ha ha

I can't wait to see you all there!!! My secret....go early before they sell out of everything! If you go in the afternoon, or late in the day, they sell out of everything!

LA AREA GLAMINAR!!!

It's GLAM time!
ONE YEAR AGO, I held my first GLAMINAR when IMATS (International Make-Up Artist Trade Show) was in in LA, well actually very close to LA in Pasadena, California!

And we're doing it again! I had lots of requests for people out of town asking for me to do the Glaminar when they'll be in town for IMATS. Ask and you shall receive!

SO I was up til 1 am redoing my website that got erased....my head hurt, my heart was having funny palpitations...but it's done!!!

I can't wait...and we have Urban Decay that is going to give us gift bag goodies again!!! And I'm working on other companies giving us prizes to give away!!!

I'm so excited!!!!

I've been working, printing, planning, calling, arranging, designing...and more.....all to make this weekend's Glaminars, amazing!


things I am so excited about:

1. Urban Decay is giving us giftbags for the Glaminars! (I don't want to say all the goodies that will be inside...but I am sooooo excited!!!!)

2. Dinair is donating a couple airbrush kits...worth over $200!

3. Zuca bags is giving us at least one (maybe 2), of their awesome make-up bags! (I use mine everytime I travel or work!)

and I have a few surprises and presents up my sleeve too!

WE are also going to be having a meet and greet after the Glaminars on saturday, at 5:30pm on the rooftop of The Hotel Solamar (check the glaminar website for details, under "aftershow")....

I have a lot to do, so I have to go now....but just know I love you all!

I  had a rough day the other day (a particular event that really made me have a BADDDD headache to say the least! ha ha ha), but I clung on to the things I love...the hope, the excitement for the future...and I had my 2 sweet and sparkling friends, Tamara and Teresa (double T's), to make me laugh, shine their smiles, and share their glittering hearts...they made me laugh in the middle of tears...the hugged me in the middle of pain...and comforted me. I had my sweet boyfriend, smiling little people...my mom and sister, via phone...and I just want you to know, if you ever feel alone, or sad....I am sending you hugs right to your heart..always! Just so you know, life is never perfect, we face difficult situations...but they make us stronger, wiser, and build character. Without character, we are like frames without pictures inside them...
so let's paint a beautiful picture of strength and beauty on the canvases of our lives....let nothing get us down...because we will keep on gettin' back up!
Let's celebrate...and I'm ready to celebrate with you!

Sunday afternoon + balloons = fun

the clouds are out....

it smells like rain....

my to do list looks something like this...

finish unpacking

clean house

do lots of laundry

eat peaches & strawberries

laugh + smile with my littles

make a yummy dinner and dine on the back patio...under the cloudy skies

and here's a sunday afternoon treat....balloons....

My Nana (grandma) used to make me and my sister watch this movie (in subtitles-which is not fun when you're a kid)...and I never understood the movie...until I got older...and realized the beauty of the movie was watching this balloon travel through the sky....and how beautiful it floated through all these places...and how some people can see the the little beautiful things in the day...and some are so absorbed by their own world....that they can't even understand or see how a simple colored balloon is filled with more than air...it's filled with a small glimmer of a smile for your day or your mind.....enjoy!

The Glammy's

I'm so excited!!! I got pictures from the Glaminars in LA!!!! I couldn't wait to organize them..so I just put up a few of me getting ready for the very first night!
You can see my lil' make-up set up...on top of my Zuca bag...ha ha ha ha...that thing is so handy!
I was being interviewed by the sweetest girl...from Univision...it was fun to be interviewed...I felt so fancy! hee hee hee
And I'm glad one of the make-up cases was perfectly placed, so I didn't have a Britney moment...but, yes I had on the proper undergarments! ha ha ha

I have been swimming in a sea of phone calls and emails..trying to set up the NY Glaminars for the end of August....it is very pricey to come out to NY I've realized! But I am so excited....I've never been to New York, and I can't wait!!!!

I'm so excited!!!!

It's the one month anniversary til' it's my birthday!!! And I'm putting so much work into my GLAMINARS, to make it the best event we can possibly have....
this is the design that will be on the bags everyone is going to get.....
and Beauty SoClean is going to be donating samples for the gift bag, as well as YABY cosmetics, and more excting ones that we are waiting to confirm...

I am so excited, I contacted ZUCA bags...they are awesome, and they have a really cool backpack...the case is like a steel-case....the top part you or your client can sit on....and it has all these really cool padded color coated containers inside!

I am waiting to see if we will be receiving one of these babies for a prize at the GLAMINARS!!!
